Hey! I’m back. I had April Vacation, so I didn’t really post. But the good news is that I’m back. Here I am! Are you glad? I’m just gonna guess that you are. Anyways, during vacation, I was in Maryland from Sunday to Saturday. I got to spend time with my cousins, aunts, uncle, grandmother, and grandfather, and had a lot of fun. Today It was really nice out, as in temperature, and for most of the day it actually looked nice out, but later in the day, it started to get cloudy and then started raining. It was my first day back at school today, and was pretty fun. I got to see my best friends again, and we played our game that we normally play, and it was great. We had health class too, and played Bingo using the food groups. That was kind of fun, but I didn’t win (The only reason I’m upset about that is because the prize was a lolly pop). Heh Heh, anyways, that’s about it for now. See You later!
Busy Days
It’s certainly been busy lately. Welcome back, people! I’m looking at my dog, and he doesn’t look amused at all.. Anyways, hello. Ever since the daylight savings time, I’ve been really tired. Mostly because I’m technically going to bed an hour later, so… Yeah. I’ve been pretty tired, but that’s besides the point. It’s been pretty nice out lately, like, actually feeling like Spring. As I said last time, Spring is springing! That doesn’t mean Winter isn’t still here, though. In the mornings, it’s still been in like, in the twenties and thirties. But at least it’s not that cold.. (knocks on wood) Okay, other than that, we went to music class again today, and if you can’t tell, we have music every Wednesday. Besides that, we started our recorder black belt song Ode to Joy. It’s hard. Okay. that’s all I have for you today, folks. Bye!
Spring is Springing!
Everyone knows, it’s that time of year. I certainly do. Welcome to Spring! Anyways, the point is, it’s been really nice out this week. So, we had daylight savings time, and it’s been really bright out, like, all day. When I left for karate on Monday, it was sunny, and the sky was blue. I thought to myself, spring is coming… Yeah. Besides that, I still went to school this week. You probably knew that already. But.. You know. Today, as usual on Wednesdays, I had music. In music, we did our recorders, but today, we had a test. In the recorder program we have, we have belts, like in karate. The test today was for our red belts, and the song was Twinkle Twinkle Little Star (harder to play than it sounds). But, I aced it anyways! As well as that, we started a unit on The Beatles, and watched the first time they were introduced to America. That part was kind of cool. Anyways, I’ve had a pretty good week so far. Bye!
A Windy Day
Okay. I’m back from my February Vacation. I haven’t posted in a while, but, as I said, I was on break. But what’s important? I’m back! Anyways, I went to my friend’s birthday party on Saturday, who’s birthday happens to be on my parent’s birthday; tomorrow! But aside from that, I didn’t do very much over my break. Today, well, today, was: windy. That’s basically how to describe it. We were having health class, and when me and my friend looked out the window, it was a blizzard. Yep. Mixed weather reports for today: High wind. Ice. Snow. Yay. I walked home from school, which was very difficult, because I was being blown the opposite direction! But, hey, you know, that’s life for you, right? Have a good one.
Monday..
Okay. I’m back. Last week was kind of chaotic, so I didn’t get to post anything. But hey, I’m here now, so that’s what’s important. Alright. So, I have a field trip this week, and you’d think I’d be so excited about that, right? Well, I would be, if I was gonna be there. I won’t be here Thursday or Friday, and the field trip is on Friday. That’s just great, isn’t it? I’m going to be flying to Chicago on Thursday, then driving to Wisconsin. Okay. Fine. But get this, I have to get up between 3 and 4 AM! Yeesh. I’m gonna be tired. So here’s something you may not know about me. I do not like gym class. Like, at all. Not at all. Not one bit. Okay, I’ll stop. Anyways, just when I thought Mondays couldn’t get any worse, we had gym this morning. And when I say morning, I mean morning. Right when we came to school, we were sent into the gym. That’s just great. Just great. Anyways, that’s pretty much all I have for you folks today. Wish me luck. See you next week.
A Short and Cold Week
Okay. I’m back. This week was complicated, so I’ll break it down for you. It was very snowy and cold this week, but it’s not a surprise. You know, New England? Okay. Anyways, I had 3 days of school this week; Monday, Tuesday, and today, Friday. So, we had a snow day on Tuesday, perfectly normal and fine. Then we were supposed to have a 2 hour delay the next day. But, bam! Snow day! Then, today, we were supposed to have a nice full day of school. But, bam! 2 hour delay! All of this made me very happy, of course. We studied why we didn’t have school in science today, with polar vortexes and stuff. In Chicago, it was -60 degrees Fahrenheit with wind chill this week, but somehow, next week, it’s going to be around 50 degrees Fahrenheit, which is crazy, considering the weather this past week! Anyways, I just wanted to catch up on all of that. Have a good Groundhog Day. Bye!
Happy Hump Day!
It’s Wednesday, and it feels like it took 6 years. Okay, maybe I’m exaggerating a little. Hehe, anyways, today wasn’t as cold as it’s been. I’m pretty sure yesterday was pretty much unbearably cold. And so was the day before, and the day before, and the day before, and.. okay, so you get the point. Today was a breath of fresh air. We were taught how to share our writing with our teacher on the computer today, which basically means we can still edit it it, but at the same time she can still see it, whereas with submitting it, we can’t change it. I also had music class today, were we “learned” about the instrument families. I put “learned” in quotes because we had already been taught about them before. But this time, our music teacher showed us cool videos of the inside of a piano, and other stuff like that. I walked home again today, which better, because, you know, not as cold and all that. Anyways, see ya later, alligator!
Hope You Had a Happy Holidays!
I sure did! I was really tired this morning, because my school sleep schedule is a lot different then my vacation one, but I’m way less tired now. Two ways to describe this morning was; Cold, and tired. But, hey, I’m wide awake. Here are a few things I got for Christmas, but before I tell you, happy new year! It is now 2019. Yay! Anyways, I got squishies, a Nintendo Switch (!), and tons of stuffed animals. And those are just some! Anyways, I had an amazing vacation. I went to Maryland, like every year, to see my cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. We had the best time in the world. But this was the first year I got to stay up until 12 a.m on New Year’s Eve. We watched Toy Story 3, which, by the way, is really good, and watched the countdown in New York on TV. I was really happy to see all my friends again at school today. See you later, alligator!
I’ve Returned!
Hi! I’ve returned! I’m back! Last week my grade started watching “Annie”, and we finished today. It was a pretty good movie, but it was really cheesy. Yeah. But like I said, it was good. That’s what we spent more than all of our music class on. But, from how I see it, now the classes are even, because yesterday, the other class finished it. By this, I mean, they took extra time, so we got to take extra time, too. Did I mention the kids in my class are crazy? Well, the kids in my class are crazy. They always are. But, yeah. They certainly showed that off during the movie, and science class. Did I mention the kids in my class are extra crazy during science class? But, yeah. That’s my post today; “Annie”, and crazy kids. See you in a couple weeks after vacation. Have a very merry!
Return from the Weekend
I’m back! Did you miss me? I didn’t feel like posting last week, but, I’m here now. What did you do during the weekend? I had a sleepover with my best friend. We rode go-carts, made our own pizzas, and watched movies. This weekend, my aunts also came from Maryland. We got dinner, and ice cream, and it was super fun! Today was cold, cold, cold. If you didn’t know, New England is cold. Yeah. What else is new? Well, the chorus and the 3rd and 4th graders had holiday shows today. It took up most of my science class. We were supposed to have a water cycle test tomorrow, but there was no time to study more in class today. So, the test got moved to Wednesday. Yay! Thanks for reading.
